Have you ever had the feeling that the older you get the faster time seems to pass?
Minutes, hours, days and even years. We have just celebrated the New Year and the spring is already at our doorstep, summer is closing in and shopping malls are putting up Christmas decorations before you know it. One hour seems like nothing looking back on our childhood when it felt like an eternity.
One reason intuitively imposes itself and that is the level of energy that children possess. On this blog, you can read more on the topic of energy and how everything rests on it and all the manifestations in our lives can be related to certain energy levels. There will be a number of articles covering the topic of energies in the future but right now let's focus on one, not properly addressed psychological phenomenon which brings us into a situation where instead of having it, the time has us!
Do you ponder about past events when you could have done better sometimes? Do you regret some words and actions, missed opportunities and bad decisions sometimes? As the years go by those situations pile up more and more and, whether you want it or not, we spend even more time reliving the past moments. We literally live in the past. And what about the future? Did we learn from our mistakes? What is this year going to be like? What do global economy analysts say? What is the astrological prognosis for this year, what do numerology and tarot tell us? What will happen if taxes go up again while the employment rate is dropping? Sounds familiar? You are also spending much of your time worrying about the future.
Should you log the focus of your thoughts throughout the day very soon you'd realize that most of your time you spend either ruminating about something from your past, be it a good or bad experience, or worrying about what would happen in the future. If you wish to have more time for yourself all it takes is to live NOW, in this moment, because all we have is this instance, this second while your eyes are passing over this text and your brain processing the information and you ease into this satisfying feeling as this is so simple and logical. Just as a child completely absorbed in play live your life NOW. The past no longer exists and the future has not happened yet. Most of the things, if not all of those that you worry about are never going to come true.
The best days of your life have not happened yet!
